We have all seen those keys are the top of the keyboard marked F1 to F12 but do you actually know what all of them do? More of us rarely use these, but knowing them can be really helpful.
 | Opens the help screen for your currently viewed program. |
 | Enables you to rename a selected folder. |
 | Opens the search feature for your currently viewed program. |
 | Alt + F4 closes your currently viewed window. |
 | Allows you to refresh or reload the page or document window. |
 | Moves the cursor to the address bar in internet browsers. |
 | Opens a spelling and grammar check in Microsoft Word. |
 | Opens the boot menu in Windows when turning on the computer. |
 | Refreshes a document in Microsoft Word and sends and receives emails in Microsoft Outlook. |
 | Activates the menu bar of your currently viewed program. Shift + F10 is the same as right clicking. |
 | Enters and exits full screen mode in browsers. |
 | Opens the Save As dialog box in Microsoft Word. |
